Altavins ‘ Selecció Garnatxa Blanca 2014 receives one of the Vinari Awards for the Best Whites with Aged 2017 . The event, which was held on October 6 in Vilafranca del Penedès and which has now had five editions, has attracted the participation of 235 wineries from all over Catalonia. However, one of the most awarded varieties has been Grenache, whether in white, red or sweet wines and of a monovarietal nature or in a blend.
In this sense, the Selecció Garnatxa Blanca 2014 by Altavins , characterized and awarded for being a white aging wine, is a 100% white garnatxa monovarietal that is made with old vines, approximately 60 years old, and aged in French oak barrels, which give it this elegant touch with a long and persistent finish.
