There are moments that only happen once. On August 12, 2026, the sky will give us one of the most spectacular astronomical phenomena in recent years: a solar eclipse visible from our home. At Altavins we invite you to experience it in a very special way, surrounded by vineyards, good wine and under the guidance of an Official Starlight Monitor.

The experience will begin at 6:00 pm at the winery with a visit to discover the philosophy of Altavins and the uniqueness of the wines of Terra Alta. We will then travel to the estate, where we will enjoy a tasting of our wines at the Mirador de la Roca, a privileged space from which we will prepare to observe the eclipse. In addition, the tasting is accompanied by a gastronomic selection that includes a mini-clotxa, a selection of cold cuts and apple cake.

In addition, the Starlight Monitor will explain what an eclipse is, what phases it has, the different types of eclipse, what Baily’s pearls are and how to conduct the observation safely.

The day also includes approved glasses for solar observation, a commemorative detail and a souvenir photograph of an afternoon that you will hardly forget.
