On the first Saturday of November, Altavins will host an annual varietal tasting where you can discover the sensory notes hidden in the grape varieties worked on by the winery.
The tasting will involve sampling white Garnachas, “hairy” (Garnacha Peluda) Garnachas, Carinyena, Merlot, and Syrah wines to observe the characteristics present in each. It will be a full‑sensory experience that engages all five senses and lets you feel a variety of sensations.
The event will have two sessions, one at 10:30 a.m. and the other at 12 p.m., each lasting about an hour and a half. It is limited to groups of no more than 20 people so that the wines can be enjoyed calmly and each wine can be fully expressed.
The cost of the activity will be €12 and will include a visit to the Altavins winery, a tasting of 6 wines, a small aperitif and a free bottle of wine.
