Our grandparents learned to undertake their tasks without sparing any effort, however long it took. Meticulousness at work was a whole philosophy of life. However, just as we need to age in order to attain wisdom, years must pass for vines - and the work put into them - to produce fruit with the maturity we value.

HOW THE WINE IS MADE Yield per vine: 1.05 kg. Selected vineyards which have been established for more than 30 years in "Les Torres" , and "els Massalocans" estates in Batea. Varieties: Syrah 45%, Grenache 25%, Carignan 15%, Merlot 15%. Soil: Chalky and silty, low permeability. Low organic matter content. Vinification: Manually harvested and packed in 20 kg boxes. Tank macerated for 22 days. Fermented at a controlled temperature of below 23°C.
CRIANZA The wine spends 10 months in casks of french oak. It subsequently matures in the bottle for 12 months.
PRODUCTION 15.000 bottles.
TASTING NOTES Red wine that boasts intense colour with tones of purple, aromas of raspberries and black plums or fruit in liqueur. Notes of vainilla and cocoa and spicy notes of cloves. Pleasing meatiness on the palate, with a good level of acidity wich counteracts the warm of the alcohol and pleasant tanins. Long, lingering finish. Decant before serving.
DRINK BY This wine should be drunk within 8 years.
